A Dunedin based jazz pianist, saxophonist, composer, writer and educator
Bill Martin is the director of the Dunedin Jazz Club and the musical director of the Dunedin Youth Jazz Orchestra. As a pianist, he leads and writes compositions for a Septet and Trio, working as a sideman with soloists from around New Zealand. As a saxophonist, he performs regularly with Big Jazz Apple and has toured with European pianist, Dan Costa.
